Easter Micro-Fashion

I loved Barbie’s as a girl. Truth be told, I still love them but I’m 38 so playing with them would be disturbing, no?

I loved dressing my dolls. I loved cutting up old sheets and hand stitching gowns for Barbie and her friends. So, it’s no wonder I love dressing up my own kids.

My boys turn 5 next week. It’s crazy to me. I love that they still let me dress them – well, at least on special occasions.

This year’s Easter ensembles came from one of my fav stores – Crazy 8. Trendy styles at Forever 21 type prices. I appreciate a bargain with these growing boys!

I paired a monochromatic look of the bow tie and shirt in a lovely mint color that I’m obsessed with. Then I added the classic seersucker vests. I finish the look with denim, so it’s modern & comfortable but with a vintage touch.

Someday, I’ll bring you these styles myself!

Oh and while I was making sure all the men in my house look good, I got myself nothing to wear for Easter. But in the words of Tim Gunn, I’ll “make it work!”
